Norwich   according to latest surveys Norwich is the boy racer capital of england with more souped up hot hatches than anywhere else( and i suspect a few sad looking Novas with big side skirts and small engines  )
strangely they also have the highest instance of road crashes mainly caused by....Boy racers in hot hatches

Surprised to see that it's not around here.

There's an awful lot of those things around Wakefield

Do they still have cars in London since the congestion charge was introduced?

If the chavs have spent all their money (or ours as it's mostly benefits!) on modifications, they probably can't afford to get in.

Bet there's not many in Blackpool, as there'll be scared away by all the TVR's being road-tested from the factory

If I remember my boy racer days correctly, adding a stripe or a naff spoiler to a 1.0L Nova makes it as fast as a TVR.

Is my memory playing tricks due to my age?, or wasn't there a court battle over the 'Nova' name?

I know General motors used it in the early 1970's for a Chevrolet., and as Vauxhall is par of GM, there's not a problem there.

So, how did the company (don't know their name) who built the VW powered kit-cars with the lift up roof section manage to use the name??

i had for a short period a v8 series 3 when i was a student (cheaper petrol and daddy dearest picked up the bill) rergular was the event of sitting at the traffic lights with mighty migits reving there engine laughing at my transport - the look on their face when i put it in second and floored it still brings a smile to my face, almost as much as the time when one car full of lads where so busy looking at me and gesticulating that they failed to notice that the 2 lanes went into one and they drove straight into a sign post !!
