It's nice to know that of all the places a Land Rover can go, anywhere could be one of them!

Remember, when it comes to Land Rover ownership, there is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Mmm, differant!

That's conversion one I've not seen before.

I was rather partial to the original 'Strange Rover' that Alvin Smith created, it was a rear-engined TR7 bodied 'Rangie'.

Someone else has put a Datsun B100(?) pick-up body on, that looked good.
I'm given to understand that the B*W Mini has a 100' wheelbase, surely someone will make good use of one of these things sooner or later?

A few years ago at Billing (4 or 5?) someone was offering a '30's style (Ford Model B?) step-side pick-up body & cab for a Range Rover.
Does anyone else remember this?

Usually it's because I/They can!

I can't see the sense in a Renault 4 though.

Very odd, strange, weird, silly looking little thing

Again why bother, wonder how it handles, looks a bit unsteady to me.

The centre of gravity should be very low, as the body will be a lot lighter than a Range Rover.

I notice no one has bid for it :?  :?

Does anyone remember the MGB on a Range Rover running gear? And there was a Jaguar bodied Range Rover on the Paris-Dakkar last year.

I remember the Jag-Range being in the press, but can't think if it was in the 4 LR mags

That's the one. I remember seeing it at a couple of shows years ago. I only saw the Jag briefly on the eurosport coverage while the rally was still in Europe. No idea who he was or how he got on but you've got to give him some credit for giving it a go :D  :D
