Sad news for all lovers of excellent animation.
The Aardman warehouses in Bristol went up in flames overnight, practically everthing was lost.
At least Nick Park is still (fairly) upbeat about it & stated that 'It's Not A Big Thing In Comparison To World Events This Week"

BBC News report

Aardman

Peter Sallis was featured talking about it on the ITV news on SKY-525 at 19:00.
(he's looking old now, guess he'll be the next 'Wine-er' to leave Holmfirth, one way or another)
Richard A Thackeray
Defender 110Td5 'Heritage Gone, but not forgotten
Jaguar XKR; X88 JLT, also 'gone, but not forgotten'

Yorkshire Born & Bred, and proud of it.

"You Can Allus Tell A Yorkshireman, But You Can't tell Him Owt!"

I saw this on the news earlier just as I had been looking at the Aardman site and the Angry Boy stuff.

No loss of life but tragic when you look at the amount of work and history that's gone.
