Garage cashiers !Ooohh it does annoy me when...
« on: October 20, 2005, 19:58:43 »
They take ten minutes to activate the pump cos they,re too busy on their mobile

they fail to even acknowledge you when you pay cos 1. they are talking to the other cashier or 2. they,re on the phone
and they dont even stop the conversation to when they serve you :x

and why are they such miserables sods, its hard enough for me to have to be robbed legally when i fill up without having some glum faced mumbling yoof serving me

Rant over :D

I was listening to (I think?) Alex Lester the other morning (Radio 2) about 04:20 & he played 'Half-Man Half-Biscuit' & their track '2 Scotch Eggs'. Which all about a miserable overnight cashier

Can't find the words on a search though

Could you not convert it to CD?
I have a seperate CD recorder that I use like a tape deck.
Very handy for this purpose.

Some of us still prefer vinyl, don't we BTM.  Personally I have a Linn Sondek and it cost a small fortune to get a CD player that sounds anything like as good.
Blue,  1988  Range Rover 3.5 EFi with plenty of toys bolted on
Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.

Too true, but I'd like a CD recorder, so I can play them up here in the office & in the Discovery

BTM
Mines a LG ADR-620 dual deck.
Usual seperate size.
It cost £199 3 years ago.
You could probebly pick one up for around £100 now.
My DVD recorder cost £95 from Amazon.co.uk
