My 2.5td 90 is playing up - not much power useing loads of fuel  , on wide throttle openings at 50-60+ it feels as though it holding back then power comes back  it surges then holds back again etc a sort of stuttering motion, not checked anything yet , any suggestions -ideas would help , dont know much about derv motors! :?  :?  :?  :-({|=

check the air filter is clean & try  a new fuel filter is what id do first

Thanx Mikee!, knew you were out there somewhere, will do that in the morning -it has an inline paper filled type filter been told these collapse inside and choke thefilter? should i replace that with a steel wool filled type?

allso check ur liftpump diafram may av a small ole init  cheep reair wiv some leather from a old boot  or by a new un about £20 from ur loacl diesel engineers   :lol:
