Hi, my SWMBO's Jimny is just about 3 years old & out of the need for "official" servising so I will be doing it myself from now on. I recon if I can do a RRC OK I should be able to do her Jimny. I have looked for a "Haynes" on "E"Bay for it but no luck.
Is one available?, if so, from where please.--Cheers--Cogs (usually found on the RRC section).

Rang Haynes today, they don't do one for the JIMNY as there are not enough numbers of them in the UK. Has to be 100,000 for them to do one.
Not good!!! will just have to learn as I go along.--Cogs

As long as the cars serviced by a reputable garage with suzuki parts the warranty isnt affected, my local garage just did my first service £120 cheaper than the main dealer. They havnt moaned too much about the modifications either. Probably a bit late for you , but may be of help to other jimny owners.

Always ensure the garage is VAT registered, and they carry out the service with Suzuki parts(or better)
Best bet is to obtain the Suzuki service check sheets for the garage to work from and tick off, and always ensure the ser book is stamped, dont just assume the recipt/service check sheet is evidence of service.
I work in a dealership, and come across this on a daily basis, always cover your back, the manufacturers will always try to worm thier way out of paying a warranty claim.
(especially if you have been using their products for the purpose they were designed for, ie track days for sports cars, off road for 4x4's)
The number of times Ive heard, 'not covered, you have been taking the vehicle off-road'
What a joke.

Got an excellent CD off "E" blag, just what I need. Typical SWMBO, now looking at a new Jimny, thats £4 totally wasted & could have been spent on my RRC, I could have travelled at least 1.5 miles on that money!!!! :D :D --Cogs
