The Met Office online forecast for Devon yesterday morning showed -63 degrees celsius, snow and 212% cloud cover. I take it this was a "computer glitch" as it wasn't quite that bad on the moors...

It forecast "fresh to gale force" (quite a broad scope) for yesterday. Was planning to bag my first munro (big mountain) decided on an easier hill after seeing the forecast, still 798 mtrs tho'! Wind was bloomin awful up to the summit then died off till we got half way back down again. Managed to stop and admire the veiw from the top. As seen on attached pic. Good luck for tonight mate. Think you might need it!
