Please please please don't take offence at this. If you need to ask that particular question, think twice about starting at all.

If you still think it's a good idea, read all you can find about bobbing a rangie classic. It's almost the same job. Just looks different.
HTH.
Oh, and good luck, and don't forget to post some piccies.
Cheers, Karl..

I'm giving thought to doing the same at the moment, here is a good website to take a look at:

http://www.washbrook.net/Stage%201.htm

The biggest hassle I see is relocating the fuel tank. This chap fits a nice custom internal job where the rear seats used to go, I would prefer mine outside and that means more work adjusting the floorplan etc.

But first - replace the steering damper I knackered at the weekend

Dave at Southdown has done a pickup, nice job, still needs some bits doing.
Devon 4x4s i believe will be a trayback design, when Simon drags it out again.
A bit of a Office rebuild going on at D44, seems a partition is being installed to keep Matt from female hired help, he scares them you see.

Here a picture of Southdowns Slightly bobed Disco.
The spare wheel is on a ball joint, so it pivits down behind cab, or can rotate so it on top of roof, for more room in back.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Devon one.
If the build quality is anything like the other cars, it'll be lovely!!
