Umm... got some rally 1000s today ideally would like to fit them to the front apron through the top two bolts, which pass through the front panel brackets. Would ths be substantial enough to cope with the weight, Has any one done this before?

my front lamps are bolted to the apron, and although they do wobble a bit, all the wobble is in the brackets that came with the lamps!
the apron is actually quite a strong peice of metal

I have bought some spotlights as well, i was thinking about putting a piece of steel or aluminium underneath the apron and attatch it onto the apron fixings so that it would have more strength and so they do not wobble all over. Was thinking about buying an A bar but some of them look really crap on the series landies- anyone got a good looking one?
