Christmas does have its benefits:Everybody (or nearly everbody  ) is in a good moodDark cold evenings lead to better TVBank Holidays!OK, I'm struggling now!

Every evening in December brings drunken revellers from office parties/works do's, as there's usually someone who never has more than a half-pint who's 'off their head'Then around the dreaded date itself, we get food-poisonings, battery ingestions, cuts from carving knives, brittle plastic toys cutting again, etc........Spring brings all the gardeners; chest-pains, spade/fork in the foot, lawn-mowered toes, pruned fingers, smoke-inhalation from garden bonfires.Etc, etc, etc......................
