Winches - Mud Club Discount
« on: November 17, 2005, 17:28:14 »
I thought I would post this as a new topic so as not to hijack other peoples topics.

I'm currently in conversations with the Managing Director of Winch Solutions negotiating a Mud Club discount.

It's all too well importing winches from abroad, but what happens when they go wrong, where is the after sales service and what guanrantee do you get.

The list price of the Champion C9000G winch is £275+vat, which I think you will struggle to beat on price/performance. I beleive the Brand has a good write up in Total Off Road (i've not seen it myself yet)

http://www.winchsolutions.co.uk/winches_winch_6.html

The levels of discount we can achieve depend on the bulk quantity we order, the more the better.

If your interested drop me a mail with details, I'll collate a list of names and sort out the levels of discount.

I'll be at Whaddon the weekend if anyone is interested, there will be at least one car there with a Champion Winch fitted.

Oh dear ... I'm so dead for even "thinking" about it :(

Are you looking to do a one-off order, or to try and negotiate an on-going club discount?

The only thing it that may come into the equation is what type of bumper you have.
My Scorpion bumper has an off set (from the middle) winch hole which, i believe, is for electric winches.
If the hole is dead centre then, i think, its for hydraulic winches.
(I may stand corrected on this)

The mounting pattern is 'standard' warn, superwinch etc.
