After working on the disco over the weekend i've frankly had a revelation. I never knew disco's where so easy to work on.I mean theres me smashing knuckle's and such on serie's, rangies, and finally a 110 and thinking all landies were like that! And no one told me  Now i know why all disco drivers have such a smug look   But seriously im freaked out its like a giant METRO to work on.Thats it im hooked from now on its disco's for me and her ladyship!!
yer better not naff this up an come back to these shores or god help me yer auld aunt nelly will jump out of her grave an like as not kick yer teeth in......

Yes, it's a big old truck innit ! First motor I've had where there's actually a hint that someone might have thought about future maintenance when they designed it :)

Breath of fresh air for me after the old mini and midget - lol

Oh no they're torturing me

I just hated working on Mini's and Metro's  :(mad):  No room, backache and sore knees. Give me a truck any day. Looking back, I was never a fan of Land Rovers after my mate used to freeze us to death in his Series motor. Now I'd have a LR for each day of the week if I had room to keep them

My sister had one as her first car and we really liked it.  It was 3 years old and had been garaged from new, low miles etc.  Drove like a dodgem too :D

You wait til you have to do a gearbox... or even a rear damper...

Too much bloomin' bodywork on a Disco for my knuckles !

and you can't even take the floors out...  whatever next

I had a MG Turbo as well, till it roted away. The engine went in to my Mini pick up.
