Sounds interesting, alot of electric forklifts use AC technology, they don't slow down even when fully loaded, some that I look after carry 1 pallet of pop in the air while pushing 2 more with the bottom of the mast,a total weight of around 4.5 tons & the trucks weigh around 5 tons including the battery so they're plenty powerful enough, and they have regeneration braking so that the motors are slowed electrically.only downside is the battery for use in the car will have to be big or it wont have much range.
