UN getting rid of Land Rovers

My boss has just got back from Sudan after a meting with the UN's security people, apparently they are changing there fleet of 8,000 land rovers for Land cruisers. :shock:

 Dose anyone know where the UN dispose of there vehicles, he was going to find out but forgot to ask. time for a new landy me thinks.  :wink:

AIUI they won't be releasing them in the UK as they don't come up to UK spec.
This discussion took place a year or two ago on MC.

Probably move then onto other charity/relief agencies

As an Ex-Aid worker For the British Government I can tell you they will be Donating them to the Little NGOs (Non Governmental Agencies) all over the world!

Must admit I thought the UN only had Land Cruisers anyway- it's all you ever see them driving round in the telly!
