Thunderpole starter pack went in today (cheers Robbie) and also fitted a little something extra on the front.

Whats the CB like ,reception ect intrested to know if there anygood , what are they about £69 or £79..?

Yeah ist a good piece of kit. reception is alright but most people I know have replaced the standard ariel that comes in starter kit with something a bit beefier
Starter kit is self is £75
you get the CB, ariel, mount of your choice
if you just want something to use whem greenlaning or traveling in convoy then its just right.

just noticed as well looks like there doing next day delivery free now as christmas offer

not sure what normal delivery time is as ordered it on a friday evening so wouldnt of been sent out untill following monday - think I got it on about the wednesday/ thursday

I have it's big brother (MC-8), and I would advise you NOT to spend the extra on it, the ME-4 is perfectly adequate, and does nearly everything mine does.

Why buy a £1000 computer just to play solitaire :?:

Why buy an expensive rig just to talk to someone you can probably see :?:

priced a cb setup at the local radio shoppe & he would do it for £85 ready to plug n play

NIce and neat. I have found a handheld is a very useful thing to have. If you are helping out with a recovery everyone knows whats happening. Makes winching safer.
