Thats bad, cage did a cracking job. Dont think the outcome would have been nice otherwise.

I've driven it a few times... but it has changed a lot over the years, so it is difficult to say exactly what the conditions would have been like.

I beieve they have all been graded now to improve things.

The pictures are deceiving. There was a ledge that you have to get over which causes the problems. Hasn't it been graded since then?

Ledges when topping a climb are scary. I had my front wheels about 6-7 foot off the deck at Kirton this summer. I normally take it slow but it looked as if it needed some hammer. Landed ok ...then trickled it up.
My mates, one in a Jimny and one in a 110, just crawled up it!
I went and emptied my shorts!

i See mr Cobley there as well, was it on one of the lro days?

Their was a day at our local trial where their was a ledge exactly the same and it just depended on how u took it to weather u lifted the front off the ground or got over it, out 30 vehicle that did it, only one got totally over it and then then the last vehicle that went did the same nearly but it was on the limit and came back down,

I see that he also has one of those cool disc-handbrakes on that motor as well!

I was there that day and remember the incident - recall thinking that he rolled like that and didnt even smash a headlight!!!

That hill changes daily, can be a dangerous ole climb that one - many have gone down it only to find the back lifting off the ground when the front finds a hole to dig into. OO'er

hell, now that is why i think you are just bloody stupid to do any off-roading in a sorft top woth no roll bar, or any sort of roof for tat matter, i know it was one of the first things i put on and even when i just roled it sideways it saved me so much damage.

Was the person inside ok?
