landy christmas present!?
« on: December 02, 2005, 19:04:45 »
SWMBO is asking me what I want for christmas.  There isnt much I need so she suggested something for my landy! :D  The thing at the top of my list is parabolics and gas shockers but thats way above budget.

So, can anyone suggest something for my series 3?  I suppose she will spend 50 - 80 quid absolute tops.  I was thinking about the steering guard but a few people have said they might not be a good idea?  Apart from the snorkel and axle breathers it is pretty much bog standard at the mo.  What would you get?

Any ideas gratefuly received! :D

How about a voucher to spend on what you want at any one of the nice bits shops?
ie Devon 4x4 /Scorpion Racing or Paddocks
Then you add your own moneys to the voucher and get what you want.

I find my dog is always keen to ride in a Land Rover or watch you 'improving' it, so if you haven't got one maybe one of them?! She'll probably get an old one free from a rescue kennel (no training needed)which means she can still spend money on a years subscription to a Land Rover mag of your choice and stick some on your Paypal account for that time when something you 'really need' turns up on ebay!!!.................wonder if my girlfriend reads this message board ;o)
Spacemud misses his Land Rovers :o(
