i have a 97 freelander but the battery went dead i got a new one and within 12 hours of the new one fited the alarm keeps going off. i fited the battery myself so how can i reset the alarm apart from that ive had no worrys

Have a look in you car hand book. I think it got somthing to do with holding both the buttons down at the same time for a period of time.
