I Wish?
« on: December 15, 2005, 18:24:40 »
I wish i could get transported back to lets say 1970?
With all the proof i need to stop the powers that be! At that time?
In allowing what has happened to OUR Country Since?

Just think how different life was then? You could leave your front door wide open and go to work! and no one would steal from your home?
You did'nt need keys for your car either? Leave that unlocked with the windows open as well? And you knew it was safe?

No Muggings on the street or little old ladies attacked!
Because people had respect for each other!
And No Damned Drugs?

Come on opinions and comments and recollections?

I don't remember it as well as others, but life certainly was different, I felt much safer......

Discovery spares would be hard to find though

To be honest I reckon it's an urban myth that things were better back then.

As Daz pointed out drugs were in abundance.
Children weren't safe walking the streets (Moors murderers) It just seemed safer.
Mods and Rockers kicking ten bells out of each other.
Football hooliganism was rife.
Crime was still an issue.

It felt better but everyone in the 70's reckoned they were awful and the good old days were the 40's and 50's
