Nooooo ... go much bigger than that. Even 1/2 a volt dropped in the wires will greatly reduce the brightness of a bulb. I've got 2x55W and they're wired via two seperate feeds, relays and fuses - all rated at 20A. These are brighter than mates with 100W bulbs in.
For the original 4x55w I'd at least wire them in two pairs, with two feeds, relays and fuses - go for 30A or bigger. Sure it will cost you a bit more for the wiring, but believe me it will be worth it when you really _need_ them !
