Coil sprung on a budget?
« on: December 19, 2005, 23:02:25 »
I am thinking about getting a new toy after christmas.  I wont have a lot of money, probably 2000 ish.  Would I be best with a discovery or a range rover classic for my money?

Not sure why but v8 range rover is cheaper for me to insure than  200tdi disco.  Whatever I buy isnt going to be great I know but which do people think would be a better buy?

want it for light offroading and a little bit of light towing (small caravan at tops).  Has anyone had any bad experiences with lpg on the 3.5 v8's?

Cheers,

Mike

Ya might be surprised what £2000 buys thes days Matey.  Ya should get a solid truck with Rangey or Disco.

Remember to budget for a V8 fuel allowance :)

Its the only regret with my Mpi, I wish it was a Diesel!

On a full tank I get very roughly about 320 miles.
