Child Seats in a 90
« on: December 20, 2005, 23:20:47 »
I have two small children aged 2yrs 4 months and 9 months?

Any body fitted approved child seats to back or front?

Any ideas how to do this safely so the child seats are fitted properly, one is a booster seat style with back and is secured with child wearing ordinary 3 point seat belt the other is a Britax frame type which secures via 3 point belt with built in 4 point harness an reclines?

help would be appreciated?

sorry to be the bearer of bad news

but you will only be able to fit the seats in foreward facing seats,so you will be restricted to the front seats only, but either type of child seat mentioned will fit in the passenger seat, but you may have to remove the head rest if fitted.

could fill several pages regarding this topic, had the same problem with my 110 hardtop.

if you need any further info just let me know

Bob

Were are those seats for sale?

also i can see the saftey reasons for not being allowed seat belts on non forward facing seats but is it legal for anyone to travell in this way with no seat belts in the rear?

My 4 year old sat perfectly well on the standard rear seat after an unexpected pick-up late this morning
