Garmin StreetPilot III - I have the Serial No. Some toerag smashed the passenger window and tore it out.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

I am not happy. At all.

Not one bit.

Bar stewards, nothing is safe nowdays.

Don't you wish you could fit some of the anti-thieft devices they have in South Africa.

On a lighter note maybe NASA could track it down when the toe-rags turn it on and Zap-em with their death-ray satellite.
Cheers.

Neil,

Have you spoken to Garmin to see if they can do anything...?

I know mobile phones etc can be tracked and blocked..

Might be worth a phone call..

Hi Neil,
Saw your message about the insurance not paying out.
Try your contents insurance. They may cover it as it's a portable item.

Ed,

Not locked in boot, not in *LOCKED* Glovebox (which my Disco does not have!)

Invalid Claim :(

I'd better check my contents policy. I claimed years ago for items that the car insurance wouldn't cover and the contents insurance paid out.

As you said it's difficult to lock stuff in the boot or glovebox.

They seem to use anything to escape paying out. :x
