The beeb have seen fit to re-run things like poridge etc priety much every year or so and all crdit due there but the goodies has never been repeated.

Lets see this giant of british humour back on our screens

please join our campaign and email the BBC and ask that the goodies be returned to our screens ASAP

No offence (well actually as much offence as you choose to take  ) but the difference is Porridge is among the funniest things ever on TV in its time where Boring Bill and chums just aint any good and out of date doesn't cover it.  Wheres the petition to keep it in the archives where it can't warp another generation?!?!
'ear all, see all, say nawt; Eyt all, sup all pay nawt; An' if ivver tha does owt fer nawt; Allus do it fer thi sen.

Well I beg to differ there but like you say porridge is a classic but the goodies was funny more on a python stile.(not saying there as funny here)
It may be dated but most of the humor still works with the slapstick side of things - take kitten kong for example - a giant kitten runs amock and destroys parts of london. a classic

No offence taken ( unless you want me too   )
Porridge is one of the greatest comedy series made and gets a lot of air time in repeats, however the return of the Goodies this evening brought back an air of nostalgia I'd like to wallow in a bit more.
