Can some one help me please :?:
I hate electrics, yesterday when I pushed the front washer jet botton it paused my CD player, this morning when i turn the lights on it paused my CD player and turned the clock off. I get in tonight and i have no lights at all, were talking headlights indicator hazards interior, I have no clock and the stereo wont work.
Whats gone wrong, any Ideas where to start. Ive had a quick look at the fuses and they seem ok. I will have another look when tomorrow when its light
Cheers

If you have a manual i bet they all share a common earth. As everyone else said thats the most likely cause of the problem.

Agree with all above bad earth problems, In my younger days as a bit of a Know it all home mechanic, had problems with electrics on my old Cavalier, called RAC out and the guy said 'had the battery out have we' Few more turns on the terminals job fixed

Update :?
Fusable links OK.
Earths seem OK
If I have the engine running, put the stereo on all is good. If I add the heater then lights and then washer jets ect. the stero speakers cracle then eventually the stereo goes off. there is 12v at the bty.
With just the engine running ther is 14v at the alternator, turn on all the ancills this dropr to 12.8.
the fault only seems to happen as you use more batt power, I have checked the batt and it seems ok.
What can I do next :?:
