How that work then???

Do you have some sort of receiver on the Comp and a transmitter in the Phone line.  Can you add it to normal laptops and if you can is it expensive?????

Soz if these are obvious questions but i aren't exactly a PC person :?  (By any Definition  )

Yep, get yourself a wireless card and router, they are on special in P.C world or search the net shouldn't cost much more than £70 all in, best thing I've done.

I have 2 lap tops and a PDA running from 1 router all on broadband.

You know you want too

Only if you try and use the net with more than one PC at a time, otherwise the wireless connection will probably transmit faster than your modem, so you wont find anyt difference.  We've got my tower and two laptops, and it only slows things down if one of us is downloading music/movies

I'm sure you already know but if you are coing to buy from PC world, buy on line and go to your local store to pick it up (works out cheaper).

I wish this project would just hurry up and finish!

But I don't think it will if I keep making simple mistakes

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
