coil
« on: January 12, 2006, 09:34:59 »
Trying to get a new coil for the disco as spark is jumping to the earth (not as bad with new performance leads), but no one list the V8 Carb disco with this part, so is it safe to assume that I can use a RR or maybe a EFI coil? Or does anyone know the part number off the top of their head? As need to order today :)

Cheers

ian

No it isn't.  The EFi coil will probably burn your points out in a week.  There are also 2 different EFi coils, one on the 3.5 and one on the 3.9

But you should be able to substitute an equivelent RRC coil.

Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.
