wanted: swb military for stage show
« on: January 12, 2006, 13:49:10 »
I've been asked if I know of anyone that can provide a swb Military land Rover for a stage show with a Northern Ireland theme at the Crucible in Sheffield. It will be required for a month and a rental fee will be paid. I'm unsure of the dates yet. If anyone feels they could help out, either contact me through this forum or contact Oakeedokee, also on this forum. Cheers, Phil.

Blinking flip - have they a budget for reinforcing the stage too?

I would imagine they're well prepared for that sort of thing. I don't think it's an armoured vehicle they're after!

Could use a stripped down s3 lightweight, we had them in Belfast in the 70's. Just windscreen and tub, no doors or tailgate and a board fitted across the back of the tub with a Signal seat fastened to it for the third man to sit facing backwards

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
