My knackered 90!
« on: January 13, 2006, 11:41:11 »
Well, its been delivered today and I think I am going to be very busy!

Things that I can spot that need doing:
  New doors (hanging off)
Brakes - pedal goes straight to the floor!
Welding - couple of little bits, hopefully nothing too serious!
Interior - trashed, wouldnt even want to sit in it with my overalls on!
Electrics - heater doesnt work nor wipers
PAS - doesnt seem to be very effective at all

Also, should there be a light for the glow plugs and at what stage of ignition are they on?

Yes there is a light for the gl;owplugs. It looks like an orange coil of wire. It comes on just before the start position.

There is on mine sometimes. Most often not. I dont worry about it. Just give a suitable pause (after putting seatbelt on) and fire her up. Starts first turn of the key everytime.
