I have to say that I'd be more than happy if mine looked like that
after it ended up on it roof.... I'd be more worried about it being
righted onto it wheels with a rope connected to it's hockey stick.

Lucky Bloke, ice isn't any fun at all.  The Ninety slid near Bolton Abbey a month or so ago and i could do nothing, luckily it found some traction and didn't end up in the ditch.

..............that you would find running around the roads in the UK?  :D

I've always said to friends that go on about me having a 4x4 when it starts snowing: "They're great for going places in snow & ice, but just you try stopping em!"

well what he really should of had was a devil duck and he would be invincible

seriously though hope everyone was ok.
Few years back I lost control of our vectra estate on blackice and put that into a hedge SWMBO was pregnant with the youngest at the time and she was knocked out.
fire, police ambulance etc all came out as road was blocked first police car that turned up almost went in the back of us after doing the exact same thing on the exact patch of ice.
Everyone was ok just glad the other kids had been at home with there grandparents that night.
Its only when you see the damage after that you realise how bad it could of been

Looks like he escaped injury by some form of a miricle.

About 3 years ago my, who drive wagons for a living, was going down one of the Lanes round here in an 8 Wheeler Volvo, Loaded, 32 Tonnes. Came round a corner doing about 50 and hit a patch of black ice, sent the truck sideways straight through a hedge and into a field. Called Police ect. but then tried to move it, and due to the fact the field was frozen managed to carefully coax the volvo out of the gate and back onto the road.

The Truck suffered a bent front bumper and headlight out, hedge was dead, and Fiesta driver coming towards sliding Lorry had a heart attack. It just shows that anything can be effected by Ice and at any speed.

Strewth, if he hits it on the left side, the right side, the front and finally the back it should be about the same size as and look more like an SJ.

Not sure if that's a good or bad thing though!  :?

Seriously though, hope the guy makes a full recovery.
If it aint broke.... break it so I can upgrade it.
