If it is got sort of a flying horse as the logo, then it is a Pegaso.

And god forgive me, but comparing the three pics, I stand by my statement: I spent too much time working with them lorries. Loads of exercises while in the Army, and it is one of the few pieces of mobile gear designed and made in Spain, so I proudly claim:

It is a Spaniard, guv

Just look at the air filter and the exhaust mounted behind the cab, which the simca hasn't, plus the size of the vehicle. Does that stuck mammoth look like a wee 5.3 tonner to you??

I dont beleve it ! Its gone so I guess we will never have a definitive answer.

Its was moved by two tractors and a lot of digging going by the mess it made of the beach !

I reckon it was a pegasso, it looked nothing like the simca.

Door handles have indents.... Roof is shallow... out of the "Three Piccies" above, 2 and 3 are more similar, deffo not 2 and 1 (Siders Post)

Front Mud guard is the same shape too.... but the fuel tank looks round on the "Stuck one" and Oblong on the 3rd pic....

Wing Mirrors and door shape wrong for Pic 1 too... fit with Pic 3 though (Although Pic three is missing the mirror itself

Indicator is on the side, not on the lump too....

Out of those, I would say it's the third pic that's right....
