hello got some bigger wheels for the defender do u think i will need a lift because they just fit under the arch

Hi Matty
If they only just fit under the arches, you'll probably need a lift :(

You have to think of the suspension travel i.e. what will happen if you hit a bit of a tump whilst turning?

Go for a 2" lift Matty, I did. Its a far more common setup & you can get some good deals :P

They aren't too difficult to fit. A mate of mine did his by lifting the rear / front end on a vehicle lift & it only took him an hour or so. I put mine on when the chassis was changed so I suppose thats cheating.

fitting a lift kit to a 90 is a doddle,hard thing about it is undoing the rear spring retainers,change the springs on the racer regularly for different events n never needed spring compressers yet,let the axle dangle n stand on the hub to stretch the rubber bushes that last wee bit
