You're not wrong Neil.

I first saw them supporting Black Sabbeth in about 1979, then supporting Iron Maiden in 1981(ish) and again on their own tour with a Portsmouth band called China Town in support at Winchester Sports Centre.

I've not seen them since then but they're still going strong and did a tour at the back end of last year.

Got 3 boxes of vinyl at home with everything from the complete Sabbath collection (some early ones on Vertigo not NEMS), Hawkwind (with Levitation on Blue vinyl), Deep Purple (Storm Bringer on US import & a couple of singles), Marillion, Rush, Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon still has the stickers inside!!) through to Tangerine Dream, Camel and Jim Steinman.  :D

Must admit I've gone a bit soft in my old age but still have Triumph and Rush on the CD in the Disco.

Oh, it was John Thomas on Lead when I saw Budgie.
