They won't give you any more droop unless you lower the top shock mounts or fit longer dampers. All the arms actually do is let the arm to chassis bush sit at a more neutral angle. If you do lower the top damper mounts you will have to take a grinder to the trailing arm bracket on your axle or it will bind on extreme articulation. It's a good mod though, i've done it to mine.

Dan the real purpose of cranked trailing arms/ radius arms is to correct the suspension geometry...most importantly the angle of the diff nose when you have fitted a lift. You are right though without lowering the mount points or fitting longer shocks you wont gain anything.

Colin,

make sure that you notch out the bracket on the rear axle where the radius arm bolts on otherwise the arm can hit it.

also, if you got them from a certain place make sure that youve asked the questions about which 'batch' they came from, and these are from the 'ok' batch.

they do look good!

Allegedly....One batch has been known to fail, with dire consequences.

*that* batch is no longer for sale and they have recalled most of the dodgy batch now.
My mate Green Meaney had his collected by courier with a shiney new pair delivered to him, complete with polybushes.

They have sorted the problem, if you have a look as long as yours have a number stamped on them they are ok...if not give them a ring. Never heard of notching the bracket, im sure i have never had a problem with that...as i have yet to reach the end of my suspension travel.

:D i allready asked certain questions about certain problems and to tell you the truth i belive budgie is correct they recalled and re-placed free of charge any defective materials and the bad kit is off sale ..i know about the lower shock mounts ect.. and the lack of droop travel just doin bit at time i do belive the arms can be shimmed out further to adjust angle to the diff which in my cae is not nescassary but maybe 3 inch plus lift yes i only on a 2 lift ..not a great fan of big wheel conversions but would like to try portal axel conversion on a disco  :D any one done one

Someone has, just cant see there being a huge benefit in making it roll easier. Budgie is right and as for it being sorted who do you think it was had the problem?
