the eazy way to do it is cut out ur  sills and weld in sum thick walled 3"x2"box  section thats wat iam doing with a range rover of my mates  ill send u sum pic when i do it

it's not as easy as that on the disco as the bodyline is actually curved believe it or not.

If you take a look at rocksliders for a disco they're curved up at the front.
