Waxoyl again
« on: January 25, 2006, 10:26:33 »
All,

Some time this summer I intend to give the chassis a good going over.  As part of this I will be getting it waxoyled (or similar).  However, before I can do this I need to clean out the inside of the chassis rails, as I know there is mud in there

What is the easiest way to sort this out?  High pressure hose, or big stick to push it all out?

Any views from those with experience would be most appreciated.

Ive used a drain cleaning flixible pipe that fits on my pressure washer and cost me £10 from BQ. You must wait a couple of weeks after though as waxoil over water is a nono.Best doing in the summer.
