Help please
 If I go for new standard springs is there any way of lifting the ride hight or do you have to go for different springs.

You could fit military shackles these are about 1 inch longer,  bigger tyres would also give you more clearence but might catch on the wings in extreme conditions

You could always remount the axles outside the springs!

Never actually done it, seen it on a finished vehicle, should think it will be fairly easy, only you may need a longer brake flexi pipe to the axle, but the prop shaft shaft should have enough travel to do it, if not need to extend prop
The U bolts are just reversed to bolt the other side, if they are any good, if not replace them too
