I am no expert but the lower of the 2 planes looks to be a lot smaller than the plane above it. Possable there is several thousand feet between them ????

The shadows are the usuall give away, and if you look at the shadows under the upper wing on both planes, they look completely different angles.

Girlfriends in the airline industry, no near miss even registered so that means they must of been at least a 1000 feet apart and not within 1 mile of collition direction

If the planes get close, the system logs it and warns the pilots, if they ger "near miss" the pilot is instructed to divert in the opposite direction so a a mid-air crash is reduced to millions to one

Her union didnt see it as an issue, not sure why the mail made such a fuss  :roll:

Even if the pics are real, the size difference demonstrates a significant altitude separation. The lower A300 is 54m long whereas the Boeing 777-300 above it is 74m long. A much bigger percentage difference than the 2 dimensional picture shows.

Just before I get accused of being a geek, I have just looked it up on a hunch it was the case ..... honestly  :oops:   :lol:
