dont bring it to Blackpool
there are a number of hotels, with multicoloured flags outside
they tend to be (very) gay friendly and i would hate the 101 to be confused with a gay bourdello (you could do (gay) weddings) :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh):

So, it wasn't enough us talking about the fact that you actually had a 6x6 101, you had to go and make it even more obvious.  You are not going to lose that in a car park are you?

I think you're supposed to put the "dominant" colour - so probably Red, but I'll seek advice from the DVLA!

Nice one!  :D

You need to paint the wheels too though! - theyre letting it down!

Did you do any/much surface prep before painting? and what sort of paint did you use?

I used spirit and xylene based vehicle paints from The Paint Man (Bill, the guy who does a lot of the shows).  Preparation involved a good clean down with the jetwasher, although I did prime a couple of areas where the original paint was flaking off.  (The idea of sanding it all down to the bare metal was not very appealing...)

The finish with the roller was OK, but the finish with the brush is not exactly showroom.  However, it's not the kind of vehicle where I'm really too worried about a couple of runs here and there.

The wheels will be painted as soon as I can stop the hubs leaking for long enough.  I painted the front grille red last night, which looks good.

I think you'll be banished to somewhere like Iceland when they see it David.

Now that's a reason to do it that way :)

I overheard a quite vociferous argument at one of the shows about Grumble and Tigger.
They'll see yours and have a dickey fit.
