suggestions on a spring/damper set up on a 90 racer
« on: April 30, 2004, 20:03:10 »
im currently running a friends 90 comp motor with sevearly used rancho 9000 shocks on the front (they've been on the motor since it was built) & new pro comp ES 9000 dampers on the back,it currently has pink/purple RR vogue dual rate springs on the front & the springs on the back are the same but secondhand(free).i have just changed to heavy duty 90 springs all round which gave 15mm more clearance between the bumpstop & axle but it is now really stiff which is crap on the rough stuff but it lands perfect from big jumps.hopefully some one else has had tis problem before & can pass on there knowledge as the next thing is rangie heavy duty all round or new dual rate vogue springs with a spacer ?
,i cant afford fox shocks so any advice on what would be the best set up for comps & trials would be most apprieciated.
please help as the next event is in 3 weeks
Mike
