Discovery 3
« on: February 02, 2006, 22:26:19 »
Well, having handed my notice in at work just over a week ago now, i still got put on a course in Stafford. As usual company policy i was allowed a hire vehicle, and asked our transport manager to book me one ....... turned up for work 8.00 Tuesday morning only to be given the keys to a brand spanking new Disco 3 - which was mine for the next 24 hours.

Now when the vehicle was first released i wasnt a big fan, but 24 hours with this machine has converted me big time. Wow what a motor to drive.......

....... so anyone fancy trading a 300Tdi for a disco 3 ?

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong

Off road.......... i thought it was good, we used it to drive the perimeter fence at work, but then again its not much more than playing fields and grass land, still fun tho. top marks all round...... and the size of those cup holders!!!

i think we could safely say supersize - looks like they could hold a full thermos flask, not just the cup!!!

Well we got ours from SHS 4x4 - and the SAT nav was spot on, moved like the proverbial of a shovel too. Over the past week ive been spoilt with them, I drive a 300 Tdi, but in the past 10 days ive had a TDV6 and a Td5. - I feel a hole burning in my pocket, and a need to change the old oil burner!!!
