PC Virus Alert
« on: February 03, 2006, 13:31:11 »
I Work for a big software company we received this alert today, thought I'd make you all aware.

Service Affected: Email/Outlook
Known Symptoms: A mass-mailing worm containing explicit images is scheduled
to arrive today (Friday 3rd February 2006) and the third day of every month
thereafter. The worm, which uses the lure of inappropriate photographs to
trick email users into executing an attachment, is capable of completely
destroying commonly used documents (DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF, ZIP, plus others) on
an infected machine.
If you receive an email that you are unsure about please delete it
immediately without opening it. Please also ensure that your preview pane is switched off.

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
