grease leak
« on: February 07, 2006, 18:11:19 »
After driving 200 miles i noticed a lot of grease on the o/s/f alloy on the way home, took the wheel off and i noticed all the bolts on the hub bearing cover were loose, and this explained the grease all over the place, so i just nipped them up

Is there any logical reason for this or has something come loose? there is slight play rocking the wheel 12-6 but non 9-3
any tips would be most helpful. thanks

sounds like they havent been done up properly and they have come loose by the sound of it its not a usual thing but if someone has been in doing the bearings they could have missed tightening the bolts up?
