Can any one help me out (urgent)

Hi guy's, im trying to find the engine number on my hybrid, it's a 3.5 v8 range rover motor.
I need a new water pump and paddocks cant tell what pump i need with out the engine nimber.
Any one??

If the hybrid's registered, the engine no should be on your V5

A quick google search gives me:

The engine number of most Rover V8s is stamped on the left hand side of the block deck, adjacent to the dipstick tube, although some very early engines had the number stamped on the bellhousing flange at the rear of the block.

I believe the only differences are related to the pulley end of the pump. I think the mounting face is always the same.

I had one off an Efi (1987 ish) that had a 3 bolt pulley. The one on my 1983 110 had a 4 bolt pulley. Both are available with or without facility for a viscous fan.

I've just had to order one yesterday from them, so I ran into the same problem!
