I havn't done a scorpion novice challenge, but have been blagged into entering a clubman challenge. I belive it is the intermediate one. The other half of the team has done a novice one, i'm just going to have to wing it. :(scared):

I think you'll find that RTV with AWDC say is the cheapest way into 4x4 motorsport. Go to www.awdc.co.uk and look up events in your area. See if you can find Glenn Bagely 's contact details and he'll sort you out. A very active area.

Muddyjames the link is here  http://www.scorpionracing.co.uk/OFFROAD/html/chall.htm

I've booked myself in and am trying to convice the wife that she ought to be my co-driver.  She used to be an adventurous sort of lass, rock-climbing, white water rafting, hot air balooning .... she also used to ride her own bike to motorcycle rallies.

Nowadays, shes a few years older and less adventurous.  I think that that's what motherhood does for girl's .... it overdevelops thier responsibility gland!
