Dunno if this might help anyone else.
My Alarm key fob started only flashing the indicators for three seconds with one flash. Usually a sign tht the batteries are low. I removed the batteries and checked them. Just over 3v on each one, should be Ok.
Got some IPA (Isoprophyl Alcohol and cleaned up the contacts and also bent the top pin in a bit more.
Put it back together and it worked fine again. Three flashes of the indicators on arming.
It may have been cleaning the contacts or the bending of the positive contact. Better than replacing with a new one if you can get one.
There is a company doing after market fobs although LR seem to have discontinued them.
