help! vacuum diff lock on LT95
« on: February 19, 2006, 13:23:57 »
i have put an V8/LT95 in my SWB S3. now i have come to the point where i need to connect the diff lock. i have worked out that the two pipes on the difflock vacuum thingy one locks the diff and the other unlocks it, a have also found the vacuum pipe off the inlet manifold. But my question is does the vacuum stay connected to the gearbox all the time, or can you remove the vacuum once the diff is how you want it?
If that doesnt make sense i will try and re write it, (i have a habbit of rambling on and confusing my self).

cheers Mark.

I think it was Morph asked this recently (101FC) and the answer is that you need to keep it connected all the time or the diff lock will wander in and out.
