injection pump - oh dear
« on: February 20, 2006, 14:30:37 »
well it looks like it's my injection pump that is at fault for this poor starting - nowt else left really.  Compression test was fine..

Unfortunately time is not on my side.  I'm meant to be going to the lake district this weekend for my birthday, I'm not sure I can get a pump rebuilt and back on in time :-(

New prices, well I got around £600, ok I'm not going down that route.

Does anyone happen to have a recon one lying around doing nothing?  OK long shot but thought I'd ask anyway.

ok let's change that to... anyone got an old injection pump for a 200tdi knocking about?  Probably easier for me to get one re-conned whilst mineis still technically running.. Will ask on the wanted section actually :-)

I'll enquire up here at a place I know if he has one on his shelf, was wondering though if an LDV pump is the same?

They use the 2.5 engine, dont know if they used the tdi though in the vans too

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40
