Clutch Replacement Update
« on: February 23, 2006, 13:34:50 »
The disco finally went into a garage cos i couldnt cope with the work only to find the clutch itself was new, well less than 12 months old.  The fork was also as new so was probably changed at the same time.  The problem that was found was that the bit that the bearing slides upon got a groove in it, and this groove was stopping the bearing moving forwards and backwards in its normal manner!  So for the sake of £21 + Vat from main stealer for the part it should be fixed!  Still having the brand new clutch i bought fitted, will either sell the existing one or keep it as a spare, cos its complete!

Just thought i would update ya!

Cheers for all the support i got off various people with regards to best way to get it done!
