I have done the range rover axle conversion, The rear axle is really simple, all you have to do is to make up some spring platforms or swap them off of your old axle. The front is altogether a differant kettle fish and there are many differant ways in which to go about it. The problem is that the rear steering linkage on the range rover axle lines up perfectly with the leaf springs. If you want to go down this route then i will give you all of the details of what you wil need to do.
Hi to all im new at this (computers and landrovers)And im in need of a LOT of advice and knowlige I bought my first landy s11a last month and have decided to have a isuzu 2.8t fitted .Knowing i will need to uprate the brakes but i am not sure wether to go for rangey axels and springs or to just buy the disc brake conversion kit any advice welcome[/b]
One thing aren't the rangy axles wider than series?wheels sticking out?
